The Vision of
TEMSEA is “To have
effective Professional Educators.”
TEMSEA's
Vision is to:
-
Promote and foster the development of effective,
professional EMS and EMS Education in Tennessee.
-
Provide EMS Educators with an opportunity for
growth, academic achievements, and leadership in
the developing EMS Educational arena.
-
Work with the Division of EMS to provide
Educator Development.
-
Advocate legislation and regulations that
promote growth and development of the EMS
Profession.
TEMSEA
was originally organized in 1988 as the West Tennessee
EMS Educator’s Association, formed in an effort to
provide EMS Educators a unified voice in the way EMS
education was conducted. However, the organizers
recognized that the needs and visions were the same
across the state. So, in early 1990, educators from
Middle and East Tennessee joined the association and
thus the name change, The
Tennessee EMS Education Association.
TEMSEA
is a 501(c) (6) non-profit professional association
committed to educator development, growth, academic
achievement, leadership, and professional EMS and EMS
Education in Tennessee. We work closely with the TN
Department of Health EMS Division to provide educator
development and advocate legislation and regulations
that promote EMS and EMS Education growth and
development.
We invite you to
